The formal is May 18th at the MHS commons area from 7-10. Tickets are $7.00 and you pay at the door. Picture information is forthcoming. Remember, any student with 2 ISS, OSS or a combination will not be able to attend.

There will be no Wednesday morning devotions in Mr. Shaw's Class until Wednesday May 9.

Spring Picture Info: If pictures are not returned or money not brought in for pictures, students will not be able to go on any field trips, annual signing, formal etc. (any events related to EMJH).

Auditions for the McDowell Titan Marching Band Colorguard (flag line) will be held on May 1st from 3:30 - 5:00 at the McDowell High School Band Room. See Mr. Miller for more information.

be a poet? Do you like to draw cartoons? We are looking for articles,
short stories, poems, etc., for a school newspaper. Here's your
chance...Submit your writings, announcements or pictures to Stacie
Edwards or Mrs. Rumfelt by next Thursday, April 26th. Can't wait to
read what you've got to say!

The Tiny Trotters basketball team will be at the MHS gym this Saturday night at 6 PM. They will be playing MHS teachers and coaches. Tickets are $7.00 and ages 4-12 get in free with a paying adult.

VolunTEEN is a program sponsored through McDowell Hospital designed to provide a service to the hospital that would be rewarding and otherwise beneficial to a select group of young people. If you are interested in an application for VolunTEEN at McDowell Hospital please see Ms. Hambright. You must be at least 14 by June 1st to apply. Applications are due to McDowell Hospital by May 11th.
