The FCS trip to Marion is canceled for tomorrow, but if you turned in a permission form, you can still come to Mrs. Shaw's Art Room after school tomorrow, and help us pack the boxes we have collected. We will be done by 4:30. Please see Mr. Shaw to sign up if you would like to still help us out tomorrow afternoon!

We have 51 Trojan treat cards left!! Please keep selling these so we can help our school!

The following Science Olympiad groups will begin meeting this week with Mr. Boyles:
Helicopters - Tuesday after school until 4:00.
Road Scholar - Tuesday until 4:00.
Write it, do it - Thursday until 4:00.

Want to get in shape, stay in shape, or just have fun? Then join the Sole Jumpers, a new jump rope club that will start meeting next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:30 pm.

Date of first meeting: Tuesday, November 15

Time: After school until 4:30 pm

Place: Meet in hallway behind the cafeteria. If weather permits, we will go outside.

Wear: Sneakers

Bring: $3 if you want to buy your own speed rope. School ropes will be available for you to use during the club meeting.

November's Outer Banks payment is due. November 10th is the deadline to sign up for the trip, that is TOMORROW!

This Friday, Nov. 11, we'll have a second clean up day around the outside of campus. It will be from about 8 - 10. Everyone is welcome to come join the fun. We are going to work around the front side of the building this week. Basic yard work type stuff again, so if you can come that's great. If you have yard equipment, especially weed eaters, bring them along.

FCS will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Shoe Boxes until Nov. 10th! Some of the items needed are small toys, school supplies, and hygiene supplies. Bring any items to either Mr. or Mrs. Shaw.

Students, if you are interested in helping with the FCS Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes at Marion Elementary next Tuesday November 15^th, please come get a permission form from Mr. Shaw. We will be walking there after school, and your folks will have to pick you up from Marion Elementary school at 5:30. The first twenty permission forms returned will be allowed to go. Permission forms need to be returned as soon as possible, but no later than Monday November 14!

Wednesday: BIG 3 Day (UNC, NC State, Duke)

Thursday: Coastal College Day (UNCP, ECU, UNCW, Elizabeth City State, etc.)
